Entrance Info

In order to cater to the needs of the IT industry in the country, and reflect the trend of international technological development, the College of Computer Science contains the "Department of Computer Science," "Institute of Computer Science and Engineering," "Institute of Network Engineering," and "Institute of Multimedia Engineering," offering programs of study leading to Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees. Further, the College is jointly offering the "Master's Program for Working Professionals" jointly with the College of Electrical Engineering, for working professionals who wish to pursue a Master's degree, and a "Master's Credit Course for Working Professionals" to provide professionals who wish to study knowledge in the field at the graduate level. The College participates in the "Institute of Biomedical Engineering" that is hosted by the College of Electrical Engineering, in order to train interdisciplinary biomedical talent. All institutes and departments admit international students and Overseas Chinese students.

  • Our College currently offers Master's degrees via the Institute of Computer Science and Engineering, the Institute of Network Engineering, the Institute of Multimedia Engineering, and the Institute of Data Science and Engineering. There is also the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, jointly operated with the College of Electrical Engineering.
  • Channels for admissions include "admission through screening and recommendation" and "admission through testing." Undergraduates already with the university may submit material in support of qualification for "Five-Year Master's Program."

  • In order to fully utilize the resources available, the program provides continuing education and training in professional knowledge at the graduate level in order to enhance industry productivity. The College of Electrical Engineering and the College of Computer Science have established credit courses under the Master's Program for Working Professionals. Credit earned by students in these courses may be applied towards the degree program if the students are later admitted to the Master's Program for Working Professionals.
