International Graduate Program of College of Computer Science

The College of Computer Science at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University has launched an ' International Graduate Program of College of Computer Science' to promote collaboration between academic research institutions and businesses. The program is designed to create a mutually beneficial environment for academic research and practical application and to nurture highly skilled and globally competitive talents with advanced research skills and industry insights.

Department Features:

  • The program offers specialized courses in seven key areas: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Information Security, Network Engineering, Multimedia Engineering, System Software, Computational Theory, and Hardware-Software Integration.
  • Minimum required credits for graduation: 36 credits, including 8 credits for off-campus internship courses.
  • Upon completing your degree, you will be well-positioned to secure employment.

During your academic journey, you will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on research projects with the partner companies to develop your professional technical skills.

Following a successful evaluation, you will be eligible for official employment opportunities within collaborating companies after graduation.

 

Scholarship:

  • Providing a living allowance of NTD10,000 per person per month for each student during their studies.
  • Full tuition and miscellaneous fees subsidy for the first year (up to NT$100,000). After the first year, scholarships will be awarded to excellent students.

 

Other Regulations:

  • In the second year of enrollment, the basic level of the Chinese language proficiency test (TOCFL) (Level 2, equivalent to CEFR A2) in listening and reading skills must reach the A2 level or above.
  • During their studies, students can receive a sustainable living allowance upon passing the review. After graduation, they are required to work at the internship company for two years.
  • If a student withdraws from the INTENSE program due to personal reasons during their studies, such as transferring to another school, changing majors, taking a leave of absence to return home, and after counseling from the school still decides not to continue the program or is expelled from the school according to the regulations, the student shall fully repay the received scholarship and living allowances.
